Frequently askedquestions.
How do I get a quote?
Use the quote form on our website, call (743) 230-6247 or email info826@alphagraphics.com with what you need, the quantity or size and your deadline. We'll reply within one business day with pricing and next steps.
What file formats do you accept?
Print-ready PDFs with fonts embedded and 300 dpi images are ideal. For signs and vehicle graphics, vector files such as AI, EPS or PDF work best. If you only have a Word, Canva or image file, send it and we'll let you know what's needed.
Will I see a proof before production?
Yes. Every job gets a proof to review and approve. Nothing is printed, cut or installed until you sign off on the text, colors and layout.
Can you design my artwork?
Yes. Our design team handles logos, marketing materials, sign layouts and vehicle graphics, and prepares or fixes existing files so they're ready for production.
How long do projects take?
Timelines depend on the product, quantity, design needs and installation. Tell us your deadline up front and we'll confirm a realistic schedule before you approve the proof.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes. Orders can be picked up at 500 Americhase Dr, Greensboro, NC 27409, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. We'll let you know as soon as your order is ready.
Do you install signs and graphics?
Yes. We measure on site, produce and install signs, wall graphics, window film and more, so everything fits precisely.
What paper stocks and finishes can I choose?
Options include gloss and matte text stocks, heavy uncoated and silk card stocks, and specialty finishes such as soft-touch, foil and spot UV. Ask for samples to compare.
Which banner material should I use?
Solid 13oz vinyl suits most indoor and outdoor banners. Mesh vinyl lets wind pass through, making it better for fences, building sides and exposed locations.
Do I need a permit for my sign?
Many permanent exterior signs in Greensboro require a city permit. We'll talk through what your sign involves so the schedule accounts for any approvals.
Are you the same company as Gate City Signs & Graphics?
Yes. This location was formerly Gate City Signs & Graphics and now operates as AlphaGraphics Greensboro, with added print, design and marketing services.
